Role Overview
MaxPreps is looking for an AI Video Producer to help build and scale the next generation of sports video storytelling across MaxPreps, NFHS Network, GoFan, and PlayOn platforms. This role focuses on leveraging AI technology to optimize video workflows, expand studio programming output, and create repeatable, data-driven systems for video, podcast, and social storytelling at scale. You will bridge the gap between video production, data, studio programming, and emerging AI tools to turn editorial concepts and structured sports data into compelling content.
Key Deliverables
- Improve video production workflows through practical application of AI technology.
- Increase studio programming output, focusing on podcast-driven video formats, segments, and social extensions.
- Build scalable, repeatable workflows for sports data, scripting, motion graphics, and AI-assisted visuals.
- Develop systems that reduce manual production time while maintaining high standards for accuracy and brand voice.
- Collaborate with editorial and data teams to transform rankings, records, and athlete stories into engaging video narratives.
Core Responsibilities
- Produce AI-assisted content across digital, social, and podcast platforms.
- Utilize tools for video editing, motion design, transcription, captioning, and voiceover to improve efficiency.
- Support studio programming by creating repeatable podcast-to-video workflows, including highlight packages and promotional assets.
- Develop templates for recurring content franchises like rankings, player spotlights, and breaking news.
- Evaluate and document new AI tools for integration into existing production pipelines.
- Maintain strict quality control regarding sports context, rights usage, and editorial integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience producing video content for digital, social, sports, or entertainment platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AI video tools and AI-assisted production workflows.
- Strong storytelling ability with a focus on turning data-heavy sports information into compelling narratives.
- Comfort working with statistics, athlete profiles, and recurring sports content formats.
- Experience supporting podcast and long-form programming through social clipping and video extensions.
- Proficiency with professional creative software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, CapCut, Runway, Pika, Descript, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms.
- Ability to document workflows and collaborate across editorial, social, and product teams.
