We are seeking talented and motivated C Developer Interns to join our CloudLinux team. As an intern at CloudLinux, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in C development and contribute to the development of our innovative projects.
CloudLinux is a leading provider of Linux-based operating systems and security solutions for web hosting providers. We are currently looking for a C Developer Intern for our Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team, which focuses on extending the life of Linux distributions by providing critical security patches and updates.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work on real-world projects and contribute to the development of our products
- Collaborate with our experienced development team and learn from industry professionals
- Gain experience in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
- Learn how to write effective unit tests and ensure quality in software development
- Get exposure to different areas of C development, including backend development and system programming
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Some C programming and debugging skills
- Experience using Git for development and patch/branch management
- Experience with GNU/Linux operating system (CLI) and shell scripting
- Basic experience with building the Linux kernel and troubleshooting related issues
- English proficiency at B1 level or above
- Final-year student or entry-level engineer with strong basics
- Able to read and reason about C / systems code
- Solid fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants day-to-day
