Role Overview
At CGS, the Client Success and People Departments serve by supporting contract administration, compliance, security, and operational initiatives across the organization. As a fast-paced and collaborative team, we play a critical role in ensuring government contracts are effectively managed from award through closeout while maintaining compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the administrative onboarding of newly awarded government contracts, ensuring projects, documentation, and internal systems are established accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain contract records within Unanet, including projects, labor categories (LCATs), assignments, funding levels, option years, and contract status updates.
- Monitor contract utilization, funding, and burn reporting while supporting operational reporting and resource planning.
- Maintain contract documentation, modifications, option exercises, closeout documentation, and supporting files within SharePoint and other internal repositories.
- Manage the lifecycle of subcontract agreements, teaming agreements, and related contractual documents.
- Coordinate Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) activities.
- Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) function by coordinating personnel security activities, security clearance processing, and reinvestigations.
- Maintain the company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library and support ISO compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in government contracting, contract administration, compliance, or operations.
- Experience supporting federal government contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Proficiency with contract management or ERP systems (Unanet strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document management platforms.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting concepts including modifications, option periods, and subcontract administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with NISP requirements and personnel security clearance processing is a plus.
