About the Role
Oddball is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team, building and maintaining a cloud-based case management system for a major federal financial regulatory agency. Our team is dedicated to bringing quality software to the federal space to improve the daily lives of millions.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack features using Java on the backend and React on the frontend
- Build and optimize integrations with external datasets and downstream enterprise systems
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub on AWS
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code aligned with DevSecOps practices
- Ensure all interfaces meet Section 508 accessibility standards
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver consistent, reliable improvements
- Support system reliability, performance, and security within an AWS cloud environment
What you’ll bring
- Strong proficiency in Java for backend development
- Hands-on experience with React for frontend development
- Experience working in AWS environments including services such as Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Understanding of federal security compliance frameworks including FISMA and NIST 800-53 is a plus
- Experience integrating with enterprise data systems or APIs is a plus
- Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Bachelor's Degree
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.
