About Trase:

Co-founded in 2023 by Joe Laws and Grant Verstandig, Trase Systems is AI, Uncomplicated. Trase empowers enterprise leaders to harness the full potential of AI without the associated complexity and risks. We are an end-to-end solution for deploying, managing, and optimizing AI in the enterprise. Our platform specializes in bridging the “last mile” of AI adoption, unlocking AI's full potential while driving efficiency and significant cost savings. Trase is at the forefront of AI Agent innovation, topping the Hugging Face GAIA Leaderboard for Generalized AI Assistants, ahead of industry giants such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, and OpenAI. We are leveraging our cutting-edge technologies to develop mission-critical agentic applications in complex industries such as Healthcare, Oil & Gas, and National Security.

The Role:

Trase is an agentic AI platform in production at Duke Health, where our agents save over 5,490 hours of clinical labor annually in a single department. We’ve raised $10.5M from Red Cell Partners. Now we’re building the go-to-market engine to scale.

We’re hiring a GTM Engineer—not a traditional SDR. One person who builds and operates the entire top-of-funnel system using AI tools, data enrichment, and automated workflows. You’ll be measured on pipeline and meetings booked. But the way you get there is by engineering systems, not grinding through call lists.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and operate Clay workflows that research, enrich, and score 121+ target hospital accounts automatically.
  • Configure intent signals (Unify) and respond to buying triggers—new CMIO hires, AI strategy announcements, RFPs—within 4 hours with AI-personalized outreach.
  • Design and optimize Apollo outreach sequences; A/B test messaging; track conversion rates by tier and channel.
  • Build the pre-conference outreach machine for ASTRO, HIMSS, and ACRO—scheduling 15–25 meetings before each event.
  • Generate AI-powered meeting prep briefs and post-call follow-ups so senior sellers stay focused on closing.
  • Maintain Salesforce as the source of truth and report weekly on what’s working, what’s not, and what’s changing.
  • Document everything you build so this function can scale.

About You:

  • 2–4 years in B2B sales, sales ops, rev ops, or growth—and you were the person who built the systems, not just used them.
  • Hands-on with Clay, Apollo, Salesforce, or similar GTM tooling. You’ve configured workflows, not just run someone else’s sequences.
  • Systems thinker. You see a manual process and immediately design how to automate it.
  • Strong writer. Your outreach reads like a human did two hours of research—because an AI did, and you shaped the message.
  • Comfortable working independently at an early-stage company. You won’t be closely managed.

Bonus:

  • Healthcare or health-tech experience—you know what a CMIO is and how health system procurement works.
  • Technical depth beyond no-code: SQL, Python, or API experience for custom data pipelines.
  • You’ve built a GTM system from scratch, not just operated one that was already running.

Not What We’re Looking For:

High-volume dialers, tool administrators who don’t think about outcomes, or anyone who needs a playbook handed to them. You’re building the playbook.

Why Trase:

  • Deployed product with real clinical outcomes, not a pitch deck.
  • Every health system in the country is figuring out AI—you’ll be in those conversations from day one.
  • True ownership: you’re building the territory, the tooling, and the outbound playbook.
  • AI-native environment—you’ll use AI tools every day, not just talk about them.
  • Red Cell Partners–backed, leadership team that has operated at scale (President: former VP AI/ML at AWS).

Compensation: Base salary of$130,000-$150,000 plus bonus. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.

Our Red Cell Partners Benefits:

  • Optional 401K, FSA, and equity incentives available.
