Summary

The Junior Buyer provides essential administrative and operational support to the Buyer and Inventory Manager. The primary goal is to master procurement processes, ensure timely order execution, and help maintain optimal global stock levels for new IT hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Order Processing by creating and tracking Purchase Orders (POs) globally for all product categories (laptops, peripherals, consumables, etc.) strictly according to the purchasing plans laid out by the Buyer.

  • The primary goal is to assist the Buyer in ensuring that we are fully stocked globally at all times.

  • Support the Buyer and Inventory Manager with essential administrative tasks.

  • Act as a key support contact for Vendor Communication, including following up on deliveries, obtaining basic quotes, and resolving simple delivery queries.

  • Perform accurate Data Entry and Updating records within internal systems (Admin Panel) and spreadsheets.

  • Run and compile basic reports on PO status, delivery timelines, and stock positions.

  • Manage the process of ensuring supplier accounts are paid by tracking invoices and coordinating with the Finance team.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of clerical, administrative, or procurement experience.

  • Must be analytical, highly organized, and possess good communication skills.

  • Strong ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets) is essential.

  • Aptitude for quickly learning and efficiently operating new software.
