Why this role exists:
We are looking for a QA Team Lead who will own and drive quality across frontend, native applications, and backend services. This role combines strategic quality leadership with hands-on expertise. You will be responsible for defining and evolving the QA strategy, improving automation maturity, and ensuring high release confidence across multiple product layers. This is not a coordination-only role. We expect a leader who can design test architecture, influence engineering practices, mentor QA engineers, and build scalable quality processes in a cross-functional environment.
What you’ll drive:
QA Strategy & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy across web, native, and backend layers.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Project teams to embed quality early in the SDLC.
- Improve production stability by strengthening shift-left practices.
- Participate in project discussions and provide quality risk assessment.
QA Leadership & Quality Ownership
- Lead and mentor QA engineers, fostering ownership and professional growth.
- Introduce and track quality KPIs.
Test Architecture, Reliability & Continuous Improvement
- Design scalable test architecture.
- Ensure high regression reliability and release readiness.
- Lead incident analysis and drive preventive quality improvements.

Must-have
- 6+ years of experience in software testing.
- 2+ years in a QA Team Lead role with the proven experience n a complex product environment.
- Strong experience in manual testing (Web, native, backend).
- Experience designing and implementing test strategies for multi-layer systems.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and quality gates.
- Experience defining and tracking quality metrics.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with test automation (Java stack).
