Position Overview
The RPA Developer III serves as the program’s hands-on automation architect and trusted advisor, delivering advanced automation solutions and ML-enabled capabilities that streamline DevSecOps operations and enhance decision-making. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing RPA and machine learning solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen analytics, and operationalize data-driven outcomes. The Lead ensures all solutions align with organizational objectives, comply with governance standards, and integrate seamlessly into existing enterprise IT ecosystems. Operating in a high-visibility leadership capacity, this role partners with senior leadership, department heads, and SMEs to translate complex automation and AI tradeoffs into clear, executive-level decisions. The Lead also acts as an innovation driver, continuously identifying emerging RPA/AI/ML trends and ethically surfacing opportunities to support program growth and strategic initiatives.
Job Duties
Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced RPA and ML-based automation solutions.
Act as an innovation radar, identifying and evaluating emerging RPA/AI/ML technologies.
Ability to successfully manage multiple teams of RPA developers including providing them with career development, oversight, and feedback.
Design end-to-end RPA solutions using tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
Define automation architecture and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable contractor fitness determination.
5–7 years of experience in IT, with a focus on RPA, ML, or automation technologies.
Providing a hands-on approach on building Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science platforms and solutions for automation and efficiency.
Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale automation and ML-enabled solutions.
Responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation solutions and machine learning (ML) models within the framework of the contract.
Demonstrated focus on leveraging RPA tools and ML technologies to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Proven ability to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives, comply with governance standards, and are integrated seamlessly into existing IT systems.
