Kit is an email-first operating system for creators who mean business. We help creators grow and monetize their audience with ease. For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform. More importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living. We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote. We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.
The role
Kit's Creator Partnerships team is growing and we need another seller to scale it further. We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to carry a personal quota, close deals across multiple pipeline sources, and represent Kit at key events and prospect meetings. This is a quota-carrying IC role for someone who's energized by working deals and building relationships with creators. You'll close deals from inbound leads, self-sourced outbound, and opportunities surfaced through talent agencies and management companies. You'll also deepen relationships with agency partners, run educational sessions with managers and talent teams, and work directly with creators to show them how Kit can power their business.
Kit's customers include creators like Andrew Huberman, James Clear, Tom Brady, Morgan Freeman,Veritasium, and Chef Nick, alongside many authors, course creators, YouTubers, podcasters, and newsletter operators who rely on Kit to run their email marketing. Our ICP leans toward professional creators — especially thought-leaders and experts — who are serious about growing and monetizing their audiences.
A growing priority for this role is driving adoption of Creator Pro, Kit's premium tier. As we ship powerful new capabilities — advanced attribution and cohort reporting, Subscriber Signals, A/B testing, dynamic send times, and premium integrations — you'll position Kit as the professional-grade platform serious creators need, and grow expansion revenue through Pro upgrades. The sales motion today is driven by inbound demand, sales-led opportunities sourced through account-based marketing, outbound, and agency/partnership relationships.
You'll work assigned accounts — converting product-qualified leads, engaging high-value accounts identified through ABM, surfacing opportunities through your agency partner network, and most importantly, generating your own consistent, healthy outbound pipeline.
Your support system
You'll report to Maggie Goldstone, Head of Creator Partnerships, and collaborate closely with Marketing, Support, Creator Growth, Ads, Deliverability, Migrations, Product, and more.
What you'll do
First Week: Dive into Kit's onboarding and product and meet the team through Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) calls. Get access to HubSpot, pipeline dashboards, and GTM tools like Gong and Intercom. Sit in on active deals and agency partner calls to understand where things stand. Start learning Kit's product, pricing, Creator Pro positioning, and where Kit sits within the wider creator economy landscape.
First Month: Take ownership of a set of open opportunities and close deals. Get oriented on your account assignments. Identify Creator Pro upgrade opportunities within existing pipeline and new prospects. Start building your outbound target list and get systems in place. Take ownership on a set of open opportunities and identify the ones most likely to close in your first quarter.
First Six Months: Consistently hit or exceed your personal quota. Travel a few times per quarter for conferences, creator events, and in-person meetings. Deepen partner relationships and surface new opportunities within their rosters. Collaborate with migrations and creator growth to ensure seamless handoffs and strong creator outcomes.
First Year: You've consistently hit or exceeded quota. Creator Pro makes up a meaningfully larger share of your closed deals. You've built trusted relationships with agencies and managers who actively surface opportunities. You've built relationships at key creator economy events that generate real opportunities that translate to revenue impact.
What will S.E.T. you up for success
Skills
Full-cycle B2B SaaS selling — You can run a deal from first touch through close, and you do it well. You're strong in discovery, objection handling, and building urgency without being pushy.
Pipeline management and forecasting — You bring rigor to what's real, what's at risk, and what's missing. Your forecasts are accurate and your pipeline is clean.
In-person selling and event presence — You're effective in a room, at a booth, and over dinner — not just on Zoom.
Inbound and PLG selling — You know how to convert product-qualified leads and inbound demand into closed deals, and how to prioritize across a territory.
Prospecting and pipeline generation — You know how to build your own pipeline through outbound outreach, not just work inbound leads.
AI fluency in sales workflows — You use AI tools, agents, and workflows (for research, outreach personalization, deal prep) and are always looking for ways to work smarter.
Experiences
5+ years in B2B SaaS sales with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota as a top-performing individual contributor
Experience selling to SMBs, mid-market buyers, and/or creator teams
Working within assigned territories or account-based models
Worked in a startup or high-growth environment where you had to move fast, figure things out, and bring new ideas to the table
Traits
Creator-obsessed — You genuinely care about helping creators build sustainable businesses. You follow the space, understand how media, entertainment, and the creator economy are converging and get excited about where it's all headed. Ideally, you already have connections in the space.
Trust-builderEnergetic relationship builder — You bring enthusiasm to your conversations and build trust quickly. You're the kind of person agencies and creators want to keep working with.
Bias for action: You don't wait to be told what to do. You follow up quickly, surface opportunities proactively, and keep deals moving forward.
Work in public: Work in public — You share what you're learning — wins, losses, market observations — so the whole team can improve alongside you.
High bar, low ego: You hold yourself to a high standard for follow-through, preparation, and care. You're also collaborative, generous with your knowledge, and easy to work with across functions.
What won't set you up for success
Preferring to work inbound leads only rather than building your own pipeline through outbound and partnerships
Needing a fully built-out sales infrastructure, playbooks, and rigid process to be effective — you'll be building some of this as you go
Discomfort with ambiguity — this is a growing motion where you'll help shape what works
Limited interest in the creator economy — if you're not genuinely curious about creators, their businesses, and the wider landscape, this won't be a fit
Difficulty giving and receiving direct, candid feedback
Nice to haves:
Experience in the creator economy, email marketing, or selling to creators, educators, or digital-first businesses
Experience in partnerships or account management — you've worked deals that required relationship-building across multiple stakeholders (talent agencies, management companies, consultancies), not just transactional sales
Existing relationships in the creator space — with agencies, managers, or creators themselves
Familiarity with the creator economy and competitive landscape (newsletter platforms, link-in-bio products, monetization platforms, etc.)
Working hours and location
We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We work mostly on East Coast time — so if you're based on the West Coast of the United States, Europe, or Asia, you might have a few early mornings or late evenings. We do our best to keep things reasonable, but a little time zone juggling comes with the territory.
For this role, we have a strong preference for candidates based in Los Angeles or New York City given the concentration of agencies, talent, and industry events in those markets. This role includes travel for conferences, creator events, and in-person meetings a few times per quarter.
