Who we are

Everything is changing in how software gets built, and Sourcegraph is at the center of that transformation. With Code Search, Deep Search, and MCP, Sourcegraph is the world’s most powerful code intelligence platform that developers and agents rely on to navigate, understand, and operate on massive, complex codebases with speed and confidence.

Teams at companies like Stripe, Uber, and Dropbox rely on Sourcegraph to ship faster and with higher quality. We’re backed by a16z, Sequoia, and Redpoint, and proud to operate as a globally distributed team that values high agency, direct communication, and a deep love for developers and their craft.

Why this job is exciting

You'll play a meaningful role on a small, high-performing Customer Success team at a pivotal moment. As a CSM at Sourcegraph, you'll manage a book of 15-20 enterprise accounts, helping developers get real, measurable value out of our products. You'll own the post-sales relationship end to end, driving adoption, surfacing risk, and getting customers healthy for renewal and expansion.

This isn't a passive relationship management role. You'll be in the product, analyzing telemetry and adoption patterns, leading enablement sessions, driving strategic customer conversations, and partnering closely with Named AEs and Field Engineers to expand customer value over time.

Expectations

  • Within one month: Build internal relationships, learn the product and value proposition, and begin taking over your first accounts.
  • Within three months: Own regular customer cadences, monitor adoption health signals, lead product trainings, and partner with AEs on renewals and expansion planning.
  • Within six months: Lead strategic conversations with executive stakeholders, drive deeper usage of advanced features like Deep Search and MCP, and serve as the voice of the customer to internal product and engineering teams.

About you

  • You are tech-curious with a genuine interest in developer tooling and how engineering teams evaluate technology.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and can interpret telemetry and adoption data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • You are comfortable multithreading relationships across engineering, security, and executive stakeholders.
  • You have experience with AI-assisted workflows and understand how these tools impact developer productivity.
  • You are comfortable presenting to technical audiences and leading enablement sessions independently.

Requirements

  • Customer-facing experience (CSM, account management, technical support, or solutions consulting).
  • Prior experience in a technical SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated comfort presenting to customers or technical audiences.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
