About the Position
As an Onboarding and Implementation Manager at Vetcove, you'll lead the strategy and execution of end-to-end onboarding for veterinary clinics across our platform. You'll manage and mentor a team of 5+ Onboarding Specialists, setting the standard for how clinics experience implementation—from kickoff through post-launch—while ensuring every clinic is positioned for long-term success.
You'll serve as the point of contact for clinic partnerships during implementation, drive cross-functional alignment with product, engineering, strategy, and support, and build the systems and processes that allow your team to scale. In some cases, you may travel to client sites to support critical go-lives and ensure successful deployment.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5+ Onboarding Specialists, driving accountability and a high standard of client delivery
Own the overall implementation strategy and lifecycle—from project planning frameworks to go-live execution
Serve as the escalation point and key liaison between veterinary clinics and internal teams, ensuring a seamless and consultative onboarding experience
Define team-wide project goals, success metrics, and delivery standards aligned with client needs and business priorities
Guide clinics through complex migrations of existing workflows onto a new platform, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support where needed
Build, refine, and scale project management processes, templates, and tooling used across the team
Oversee training delivery and support your team in troubleshooting configuration, data imports, and integrations
Maintain clear, executive-level communication with internal stakeholders and client leadership to ensure transparency and alignment
Partner with Product and Engineering to influence the implementation workflow and champion the needs of clients and your team
You Should Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
4+ years managing complex software implementation projects, preferably in a SaaS or tech-enabled services environment, with at least 2 years in a people management role
Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage team capacity across multiple concurrent client engagements
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
Proficiency in project management tools and experience building scalable processes, timelines, and reporting frameworks
Experience working with clinics, healthcare providers, or other medical environments is a plus but not required
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 10–15%)

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $75,000/year - $130,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. For Colorado, the salary range is: $80,000 - $110,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. This salary range is a good faith estimate of what Vetcove may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience. The range reflects the base hourly rate or annual compensation (as applicable), and does not include bonus, equity or other incentives.
