The Mobility team ensures employees transition smoothly across borders, adhering to local laws, and provides extensive immigration and relocation assistance. As a Senior Mobility Specialist, you will join our Onboarding and Mobility team at a pivotal time, with the unique opportunity to impact the global employment landscape directly.
What you bring
- An immigration lawyer licensed to practice in Germany.
- Extensive experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles in immigration.
- An in-depth understanding of immigration and typical processes involved in immigration compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in the tech industry or a hyper-growth and scaling environment is ideal.
- Writes and speaks fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working remotely is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned cases through effective utilization of case management and billing systems.
- Provide guidance for specific travel needs, counsel on the immigration process, and serve as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship cases.
- Provide legal and strategic guidance on service delivery of immigration compliance to our clients.
- Take ownership of senior-level escalations to support Mobility Specialists in all areas of work.
- Assist leadership in the management of large projects.
- Regularly monitor the Mobility dashboard and help channels to ensure response times adhere to SLAs.
- Seek, control, and establish in-house immigration services to increase revenue generation and efficiency.
- Analyze, prepare and submit visa/work permit applications.
- Mentor and support Mobility Specialists and Coordinators.
- Actively contribute to documentation for training material and support training rollouts.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Independently maintain and monitor immigration law to ensure regulatory compliance.
