Are you a results-oriented, forward-thinking Strategy and Operations leader with strong expertise and passion for the medical device commercial pricing and commercial strategy? Here at Turquoise Health, we're seeking a dynamic Strategy & Operations Manager/Senior Manager to drive Life sciences growth, client insights, and operational priorities across our medical device customers.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role supporting senior leadership as a thought partner in shaping how Turquoise serves medical device strategy. You'll sit at the intersection of healthcare data and customer strategy — pulling and interpreting price transparency and reimbursement data, reasoning across the device pricing landscape, and translating insights into board-ready narratives that move pricing, contracting, and market access decisions. You should be someone with strong opinions, held loosely, who is equally comfortable in a SQL editor as you are in a commercial leader's office.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create with customers - spend roughly half your time working directly with medical device commercial leaders, market access executive stakeholders to ideate, scope, and execute analytical deliverables that address their highest-priority commercial questions.

  • Own the client deliverables - lead initiatives from problem definition through final output, producing presentations, frameworks, whitepapers, and data narratives tailored to senior device manufacturer executives.

  • Represent Turquoise Health externally - attend industry events and conferences, build relationships with industry analysts, and collaborate with marketing to develop messaging and content that resonates with the medical device buyer.

Strategic Metrics

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives - serve as the connective tissue between Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success; own high-priority projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment, clear accountability, and on-time execution across teams.

  • Translate data into commercial & product strategy - convert raw analyses into actionable recommendations across pricing, market access, contracting, and mark-up benchmarking, and net cost recovery analysis at the provider level.

  • Reason across the device reimbursement landscape - navigate procedure-level rates, implant economics, hospital vs. ASC settings, and payer dynamics to answer the questions that matter to a Chief Commercial Officer.

  • Run market and competitive intelligence - monitor MedTech industry dynamics, FDA approvals and reimbursement code lifecycle, payer coverage policies, and competitor moves; deliver crisp briefs that inform commercial and product decisions.

  • Partner with senior leadership - serve as a trusted advisor to Market Solutions leadership on growth strategy, account prioritization, and the evolution of the medical device offering.

  • Build best-in-class internal deliverables - create frameworks, abstracts, and strategic narratives that turn complex healthcare data into crisp internal recommendations for commercial and product decisions.

Technical Metrics

  • Leverage the analytical engine for medical device clients - pull, transform, and synthesize data across price transparency, claims, and partner datasets to surface commercial-grade insights for both implantable and non-implantable device portfolios.

  • Diagnose and reconcile data discrepancies - validate dataset quality, pressure-test methodology, and document the assumptions behind every client-facing number.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of management consulting experience (strong preference for medical device commercial, market access topics) or comparable experience at a leading medical device company

  • Strong working knowledge of the medical device industry - the commercialization lifecycle, go-to-market motions, market access, contracting, GPO/IDN dynamics, and the commercial KPIs that matter.

  • Fluency in device reimbursement mechanics and revenue cycle management billing, coding, reimbursement - implantable vs. non-implantable economics, hospital vs. ASC payment methodology, and how payer coverage policies affect device adoption.

  • Strong technical fluency - comfortable pulling data directly (SQL or equivalent), generating insights, and identifying and resolving data discrepancies without waiting on an analyst.

  • Hands-on healthcare data experience - price transparency, claims, hospital, or payer datasets a strong plus.

  • An analytical, strategic mind with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities.

  • A knack for making thoughtful, actionable recommendations and quickly building consensus with senior-level internal and external stakeholders.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment - high autonomy, ambiguity tolerance, and a bias to ship.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay with equity options

  • Stellar health care plan options (Medical, Dental & Vision), with FSA, DCFSA, & HSA options

  • Company-sponsored disability & life insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 401(k) + 4% Matching

  • Fully remote work + flexible working hours

  • $750 work-from-home setup budget

  • Paid quarterly in-person co-working weeks

  • Quarterly $150 co-hanging stipend to meet up with coworkers

  • Monthly $100 health and wellness benefit

  • Generous paid family leave
