About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our client's team and take ownership of website maintenance, troubleshooting, custom development, and technical integrations. This role is ideal for a developer with strong WordPress expertise and a back-end or full-stack background who enjoys solving technical challenges, optimizing website performance, and building custom functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Website Maintenance & Technical Support
- Resolve website issues, bugs, and support requests
- Troubleshoot hosting, DNS, and server-related problems
- Manage website migrations with minimal downtime
- Maintain website stability, security, and functionality
Custom Development
- Build and customize website functionality based on project requirements
- Develop and modify WordPress themes and plugins
- Create clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve compatibility issues between plugins and custom code
Integrations & Automation
- Build and maintain API integrations
- Configure CRM, email marketing, and third-party platform connections
- Ensure accurate data synchronization across systems
- Troubleshoot integration failures and performance issues
Website Performance Optimization
- Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals performance
- Implement caching strategies, image optimization, and CDN configurations
- Monitor and optimize website performance across devices and browsers
Requirements
- 9+ years of professional web development experience
- Strong WordPress development experience
- Strong PHP skills
- HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript proficiency
- Experience managing cPanel, DNS records, and Linux hosting environments
- Experience with API integrations
- Experience using AI tools in professional workflows within the last 2 years
