About the Role

At Mastra, every week is launch week. We ship 3–4 minor releases and one feature launch every week, on top of platform announcements and major launches every few months. We need someone to own that.

This is a writing and launching job. About 70% of your time is producing content for developers: release posts, deep dives, the weekly newsletter, X threads, Discord announcements, GIFs and code snippets. The rest is website messaging (with founders) and light sales enablement.

What you'll do

  • Own the launch pipeline: Manage our weekly narrative tracker, figuring out what we're shipping, what story it tells, and how to get it in front of developers fast.
  • Write for engineers: Create technical content for developers building agents and workflows in TypeScript. You need to understand technical concepts like tool calls, durable execution, and memory.
  • Produce light media: Create GIFs of features using tools like Claude Code, Puppeteer, or Remotion, and style code snippets for visual impact.
  • Engage the community: Curate and send our weekly newsletter to our growing community.
  • Shape positioning: Collaborate with founders on website copy and messaging to ensure our platform value is clear.

What we're looking for

  • Comfortable reading TypeScript and understanding developer infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in developer tools, open-source, or AI infrastructure.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts like workflows versus agents clearly.
  • A track record of shipping high-quality content that resonates with an engineering audience.
  • Self-driven nature—you don't need a brief to start writing and you view AI tools as a multiplier for human creativity.
