Role Overview
The Field Engineer’s primary role is to serve as a technical advisor and champion for CodeRabbit customers. You will play a crucial role in the customers’ pre-sales journey by partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to help customers appreciate the value of CodeRabbit.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical solutions.
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Drive compelling demos and impactful Proof of Values (PoVs) to effectively showcase the value of the CodeRabbit platform.
- Help in responding to security questionnaires.
- Provide feedback and collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to improve the product experience.
- Stay abreast with industry trends, and emerging technologies in AI-powered development tools and platforms.
- Contribute towards improvement of internal tools and documentation of playbooks, guides and best practices.
- Support transition from pre-sales to post-sales to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with 2+ years in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Strong experience with software development tools and platforms.
- Comfortable working with commandline.
- Knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
- Experience in container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD tools (e.g. Github Actions).
