Job Overview
We are actively seeking an ERP Operations Test Analyst to bridge the gap between our operational teams and technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system functions flawlessly and aligns perfectly with day-to-day business operations. You will work closely with department heads, end-users, and the IT development team to design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing strategies for ERP upgrades, custom modifications, and new module implementations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners to review requirements, ensure test plan alignment, and audit test executions.
- Provide direct and constructive feedback on design documentation, user stories, and risk assessments.
- Perform rigorous functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across various ERP modules, including Supply Chain, Finance, Inventory Management, and Procurement.
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with operational end-users.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and system bottlenecks using project management tools.
- Analyze and validate operational workflows to ensure the ERP system effectively supports business processes.
- Validate data migration and integration between the ERP system and third-party applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Infor in a testing or business analysis capacity.
- Proven experience in software testing methodologies, writing test scripts, and executing structured QA processes.
- Strong familiarity with operational workflows including warehouse management, supply chain, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency with defect tracking and project management software like Jira or Asana.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and experience conducting API testing using Postman.
- Ability to perform basic scripting analysis and utilize browser developer tools for debugging.
