Your impact
Lead Instructors play a key role in driving elements of Correlation One’s multiple training programs. They will train learners in Correlation One’s programs and work with company operations personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes. Their main focus as educators will be in larger format lectures, training anywhere from 30 to 300 learners, live, depending on the program.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent educator with superior communication skills and a good sense for improving the Fellow experience. This person is a quick learner and diligent with their work. Candidates with demonstrated records in education and training, including successful tenures with other educational institutions or training programs, are preferred. Advanced credentials from top educational institutions are also preferred.
Based upon the location of the program, lecture time commitments will occur as follows:
- July 9th - December 1st on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm CET / 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm GMT / 9:30 am - 11:30 am EST
A day in the life
- Lead the instruction of a “virtual classroom” within a larger program; this program will consist of between 30 and 300 learners (though potentially many more, depending on the program); instruction purview includes:
- Conduct lectures during the dates and times indicated above
- Prep time:
- Experienced LI: 30 minutes of prep per lecture
- New LI: 1-hr of prep per lecture
- Collaborate with Correlation One operations personnel to perform class duties well and stay on schedule
Your expertise
- An excellent educator with a passion for teaching and helping others
- Degree in a Computer Science-related field and/or industry experience in a computer specialist related role; post-graduate and research work at top institutions are also strong pluses
- Outstanding team and people management skills
- Familiarity with the following topics:
- Computer hardware and software basics
- Operating systems
- Network – VPN, security, remote access
- Cybersecurity – anti-virus
- Cloud computing
- Future of IT
Where you are
- This is a remote position with the preference that the ideal candidate is willing to provide instruction in the Central European time zone
