Position Overview
- This role is the driving force behind the successful deployment of our software in ambulatory and enterprise healthcare client environments.
- You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects.
- The Project Manager serves as the primary contact with the customer during the implementation process, working collaboratively with the customer’s internal project team.
- Manage multiple small- and large-scale projects following the PerfectServe Project Management Methodology.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan the project: Coordinate transitions from sales to services, define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements, and determine key success factors.
- Staff the project: Assign appropriate resources, ensure team alignment on scope, and provide ongoing direction.
- Implement the project: Track progress via EPM tools, facilitate weekly status calls, communicate expectations, and manage relationships with hospital senior leadership.
- Control the project: Manage budgets, resource allocation, and risk logs, handle change orders, and monitor billing milestones.
- Evaluate the project: Prepare completion documents and ensure deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience managing Healthcare IT projects (e.g., EMR, EHR).
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, change management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent listening, communication, presentation, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
