ABOUT THIS ROLE
We're a startup, so this is the kind of role where you'll roll up your sleeves, move fast, and work across boundaries to help us achieve our mission.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will:
- Lead the user experience vision for a core product area, actively shaping the team's roadmap and goals alongside product and engineering counterparts.
- Lead the end-to-end design process — from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and launch.
- Provide critical design feedback on adjacent product areas to ensure a cohesive, unified experience across Rasa's portfolio.
- Conduct user research, usability testing and customer interviews to ensure our solutions are genuinely user-centered.
- Share quantitative and qualitative data with the entire product team in an articulate way to enhance the organization's understanding of our products and users.
- Design approachable, intuitive interfaces that make advanced AI technologies accessible to non-technical users.
- Foresee future user needs and deliver design solutions that are scalable, addressing complex user and technical problems across various features.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to keep our product — and your craft — at the cutting edge.
ABOUT YOU
- You don't need to write code, but you think like someone who's comfortable around it. You can engage meaningfully with technical complexity — agent architectures, LLM behaviors, AI interaction patterns — and use that understanding to make sharper design decisions.
- You are a team player who is highly respectful of your peers.
- You're confident when sharing your work and humble enough to take constructive feedback to improve your understanding and approach.
- You can balance technical, user, and business needs and make informed decisions about how the user experience should work.
- You thoroughly document your work, synthesize your insights, and surface meaningful data points for your peers in product and design and other members of the development team.
- The ML and especially LLM space is moving extremely fast, this requires fast thinking and scrappiness. You need to be okay working with ambiguity.
- Proven track record of defining product strategies and successfully using qualitative and quantitative data to drive high user and business impact.
- You have already worked on B2B products and understand how it differs from B2C products.
- You've designed for AI-native products — ideally in conversational AI, coding agents, or developer tooling — and have case studies that show you can navigate real technical complexity.
- You have a product design portfolio with in-depth case studies.
