About The Role
Yuno is moving toward its 2030 Vision: becoming the autonomous, programmable operating system for global commerce. We are looking for a highly technical, execution-focused Technical Product Manager (TPM) to serve as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) for Client Experience. This role spans the Developer Platform & API, Client Identity, Data & Access, and Checkout & Client Experiences domains. You will move between defining product strategy, shaping technical direction, and ensuring reliable operation in production, championing a “You Build It, You Run It” (YBIYRI) engineering culture.
Client Experience Mandate
- Developer Platform & API: Ownership of the public API surface, including gateway, versioning, SDKs, documentation, and sandbox environments.
- Client Identity, Data & Access: Managing the merchant account layer, including organizations, users, roles, SSO, permissions, and reporting/analytics.
- Checkout & Client Experiences: Oversight of all surfaces touched by merchants and shoppers, including hosted checkout, embedded web/mobile SDKs, payment forms, and dashboard front-ends.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) to translate business goals into versioned APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Optimize the end-to-end client journey, from developer onboarding to shopper payment experiences.
- Drive agentic strategy to move onboarding toward low-to-no coding efforts via AI-assisted flows.
- Protect the stability floor by maintaining automated quality assurance across all client-facing systems.
- Provide cross-functional leadership, partnering with Staff Engineers and the CTO Office to eliminate technical silos.
- Embed a "You Build It, You Run It" (YBIYRI) culture, prioritizing uptime and reliability for all public-facing services.
- Prioritize roadmaps using the RICE framework to manage complex, cross-domain requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Deep technical foundation in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and modern software engineering (e.g., Cloud-native/Serverless, Kotlin/Go, gRPC/REST).
- Proven experience building foundational platform capabilities such as developer-facing APIs/SDKs, identity and access management, or checkout systems.
- Strong execution mastery in driving delivery velocity, managing dependencies, and optimizing DORA metrics.
- Ability to articulate technical trade-offs to executive stakeholders, balancing feature velocity with technical debt.
