Lamb Insurance Services has an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to grow and develop professionally as a Claims Operations Analyst located in the New York City or Philadelphia metro areas.

If you are an articulate, customer-service focused insurance professional with claims experience on the broker, carrier or corporate side, we would like to talk to you. Experience with multiple insurance lines of business is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide reporting of claims on behalf of brokerage clients
- Utilize claims management system to monitor and manage client claim activity
- Communicate with carrier adjusters and clients to facilitate successful handling and resolution of claims
- Act as claims liaison, including consultative discussions and research regarding coverages
- Prepare customer claim summaries
- Visit clients to review claims and assess claims needs
- Assist with research and follow-up on claim reserves and payment
- Track complicated claims for resolution and communicate findings to client
- Provide specialized claim service as needed
- Perform claim trending analysis with charts/graphs
- Give presentations and training sessions to large groups on claims related topics
Desired Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or P&C broker’s license, or adjuster’s license preferred
- 1-2 Years of experience in claims and risk management
- Excellent knowledge of computers in a window-based environment required with an intermediate or expert level use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with claims management systems / Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details, good time-management skills, and organizational skills are necessary
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment to manage priorities of work, maintaining required production levels and ability to comply with accepted practices and guidelines
- Meet expectations for attendance, punctuality, and ability to sit for extended periods of time
