Position Overview
The Field Marketing Manager leads field marketing execution, working closely with the Marketing Lead and sales to turn strategy into on-the-ground engagement. This role owns Istari Digital’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and regional events, including the booth conversations, executive touches, and follow-up that turn engagement into pipeline.
Core Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
- Provide input on quarterly field marketing plans and prioritization, drawing on direct knowledge of which accounts, events, and regions are showing the strongest engagement; execute the resulting programs from initial planning through completion.
- Plan, run, and attend trade show and conference presence, including booth staffing, meeting scheduling with priority prospects and accounts, and lead capture setup so engagement translates into actionable follow-up.
- Execute localized activations such as direct mail and gifting to target and ABM accounts, in-person event touches, and conference-adjacent placements designed to build visibility around the industry's highest-value gatherings.
Event Operations
- Manage event logistics end-to-end, including timelines, deliverables, and on-site setup and teardown.
- Order and manage event swag, signage, and collateral inventory, keeping materials on-brand and in stock.
- Manage event budget tracking and vendor invoicing within approved spend.
- Coordinate speaker and session logistics for conferences, including abstract submissions and scheduling coordination.
Field & Sales Coordination
- Adapt corporate campaigns and content for field relevance, ensuring company-level messaging lands with the specific audiences and personas engaged on the ground.
- Log event leads into the CRM and coordinate with sales on timely follow-up.
- Conduct post-event follow-up internally, including debriefs with sales to close the loop on lead quality.
Reporting
- Track and report on pipeline connected to field programs, sharing results with the Marketing Lead and sales team.
- Share field intelligence and recommendations, including content gaps, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback gathered in the field.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 3+ years in field marketing or event marketing.
- Experience executing marketing programs, including event logistics.
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong organizational and vendor-management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Willingness to travel (typically 20–30%).
