About TARA Mind:
TARA Mind is a Public Benefit Corporation focused on improving outcomes and reducing costs for individuals with treatment-resistant mental health conditions. We partner with self-insured employers to deliver evidence-based care through a curated network of providers specializing in advanced mental health therapies that can achieve rapid and substantial clinical relief.
Our model integrates clinical rigor, data-driven diagnostics, and coordinated care to ensure patients receive the right treatment at the right time. By targeting high-cost, high-need populations, we help employers reduce avoidable healthcare utilization while improving patient outcomes.
Backed by Red Cell Partners, TARA Mind is building the infrastructure for next-generation mental health care—combining technology, provider networks, and evidence-based protocols to scale access to treatments that work when traditional approaches have failed.

You will own the product roadmap, drive disciplined project management across key initiatives, and manage the core operational cadence that keeps our business running smoothly. In the absence of a dedicated Product Manager, this role will also step into select product management responsibilities, including backlog ownership, requirements definition, sprint planning support, QA/UAT coordination, and release management. The ideal candidate is an expert at creating order from complexity, holding teams accountable, and building scalable systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Operations & Execution

- Translate business needs into clear requirements, tickets, acceptance criteria, and sprint priorities
- Partner with engineering and stakeholders to drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery tracking
- Track product development status and communicate progress, risks, and priorities across teams
Delivery, QA & Releases
- Support end-to-end product delivery from requirements through release
- Coordinate QA/UAT and ensure high-quality, on-time launches
- Manage release processes, documentation, issue tracking, and post-launch performance tracking
User Insights & Product Input
- Gather and synthesize feedback from providers, patients, and internal teams
- Synthesize insights into roadmap prioritization and feature development
- Maintain a tight feedback loop between users and product
Cross-Functional Project Management
- Lead key initiatives (e.g., client implementations) from kickoff to execution
- Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, clinical, and sales
- Manage workflows, unblock teams, and ensure accountability
- Support coordination of customer implementation and RFP-related work across internal teams
Business & Operational Support
- Oversee core operational processes (financial tracking, invoicing, board prep)
- Run team operating cadence (stand-ups, sprint reviews, planning)
- Provide hands-on support in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years in product ops, project management, or business operations (startup experience preferred)
- Direct experience in health-tech and/or clinical operations
- Strong experience with tools like JIRA, Asana, HubSpot, and BI platforms
- Proven ability to translate business needs into product execution
- Familiarity with financial operations in a venture-backed environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; thrives cross-functionally
- Builder mindset with a bias for action and process creation
- Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and workflows
