Mozilla is seeking a Senior Content Creator based in Germany to produce standout social content for our German Firefox channels. You'll be responsible for the full content life cycle, including conceptualising, scripting, filming, and editing both trending and evergreen short-form videos. You will also manage the community on @firefox_de across TikTok, Instagram, and Threads, and connect with German creators to add authentic new voices to the Firefox story.
About You
You're a storyteller and fluent German speaker with a sharp instinct for what makes content perform. You are dedicated to the German digital landscape, with knowledge of the creators, platforms, memes, and moments that matter. You are a skilled, self-sufficient creator who can take a brief and run with it, bringing strong creative judgment and executional excellence from concept through final cut.
What You'll Do
Content Production
- Ideate, script, film, and edit high-performing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Threads.
- Translate and adapt global content for the German market, identifying which formats, tones, and moments land locally.
- Spot cultural trends and surface timely opportunities to help Firefox show up in the right conversations.
Community Management
- Own real-time community management across @firefox_de channels, monitoring conversations and responding to users.
- Feed audience insights back to the broader content team to inform ongoing work.
Creator & UGC Partnerships
- Review, provide feedback on, and help edit German-language creator and UGC content.
- Build and champion relationships with German content creators to authentically tell the Firefox story.
What You Bring
- German fluency (written and spoken) with the ability to craft culturally sharp, nuanced copy.
- 5+ years of hands-on social content production, specifically for TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video.
- Demonstrated experience filming and editing content with mobile-first tools like CapCut or Adobe Premiere.
- Outstanding writing and editorial skills in both German and English.
- A strong portfolio of social content demonstrating measurable engagement growth.
- Deep knowledge of the German digital landscape, including key creators and cultural trends.
- Passion for Mozilla's mission regarding internet privacy and user control.
