About the Role
Senior Product Manager - Litify ELM Practice Management
At Litify, our Product Managers prioritize and execute our roadmap, and provide detailed requirements and direction for the Engineering and UX teams in software development cycles. The Product Manager leads continuous discovery – including market research, competitive analysis, and regular collaboration with key stakeholders and clients–to inform a winning product strategy. Additionally, they are the functional product owner for their team, and are responsible for creating tickets with requirements and acceptance criteria, and for partnering with Engineering to ensure development is executed to specifications and delivered within our release framework. Lastly, our Product Managers serve as subject matter experts and voice of the customer for their products, and occasionally represent Litify in client meetings, pitches and demos.
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for Litify’s ELM (Enterprise Legal Management) Practice Management product, which serves leading corporate legal departments. ELM Practice Management represents everything non-financial management – encompassing the core lifecycle of how corporate legal teams collaborate, manage matters, and leverage automation.
This role reports to our Chief Product Officer, and will lead major, highly innovative product and AI initiatives for the company, including those involving AI. This is a highly growth-focused role for a proactive, resourceful, and visionary product leader. You will take a nascent product space and drive its strategy, building out the industry-leading platform for corporate legal departments.
In this role, you’ll:
- Drive Product Vision & Growth: Establish and evolve our long-term vision for ELM Practice Management solutions, and prioritize each annual roadmap and each quarterly release to reach that north star.
- Facilitate the Product Development Process: Partner closely with the ELM engineering team and UX designer to keep development cycles progressing smoothly.
- Ingrain Yourself with Clients: Build relationships with Litify’s flagship corporate legal clients to understand their unique pain points, workflow opportunities, and unmet needs.
- Execute Core Practice Management Initiatives: Build and scale critical product experiences, including Legal Service Requests (LSRs), RFP & Vendor Selection Tools, Vendor & Co-Counsel Collaboration and Matter Management tailored to the corporate legal function.
- Deeply Partner Cross-Functionally: Work hand-in-hand with Engineering daily to deliver on the roadmap, while also partnering heavily with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to align GTM strategies.
- Write Exceptional Requirements: Author detailed, clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and precise Jira tickets, ensuring no detail is overlooked during engineering handoffs.
- Leverage Cutting-Edge Tooling: Actively use AI tools to streamline your product development lifecycle, refine tickets and draft requirements efficiently.
- Engage at the Executive Level: Gain buy-in and support from leadership for the innovation roadmap and keep cross-functional teams updated on your progress.
To be successful, you have/are:
- Experience: 5-7+ years of working experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment. Experience in legal tech, enterprise legal management (ELM), or corporate legal departments is a major plus.
- A Proactive Growth Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes extreme ownership, and is willing to put in the hard work and energy required to scale a nascent product area.
- Exceptional Client-Facing Skills: The ability to easily build rapport with enterprise clients, ask deep discovery questions, and synthesize complex client feedback into structured, actionable features.
- Technical & Product Tooling Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Jira, Claude and Claude Code are a major plus.
- Executive-Level Communication: Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Deep analytical skills and a passion for thoroughly thinking through edge cases, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are watertight.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
